Participation Guidelines for the 17th Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme

“Youth Arts Week” is one of the core events of the 17th Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme. All arts ambassadors are required to participate in at least one of the following arts activities. Participation for ambassadors from special schools is optional. Some activities require prior registration. In the event of oversubscription, event participants will be selected by drawing lots.

Arts ambassadors who are unable to attend any of the following events will be regarded as absent from the activity.

1. “Youth Arts Week” Opening Ceremony	Date: 25 July 2025 (Fri) Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Venue: Jockey Club Black Box Theatre, Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC)	Performance Arts Enhancement Course Tutors’ Sharing Arts Ambassadors’ Sharing Visit the Arts Bazaar	Attend the activity punctually as stated in the confirmation email.
2. “My Breath Diary” Blackbox Theatre Performance	Date: 26 July 2025 (Sat) Venue: Jockey Club Black Box Theatre, JCCAC Performance Sessions: Session 1 \| 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM Session 2 \| 4:45 PM – 5:45 PM	Ambassadors will showcase their learning achievements in stage design and performance from Arts Enhancement Courses	Attend the activity punctually as stated in the confirmation email.
3. Arts Bazaar and Workshops	Date: 25–27 July 2025 (Fri–Sun) Venue: Central Courtyard, JCCAC Workshop Sessions: Session 1 \| 25 July (Fri), 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM Session 2 \| 25 July (Fri), 4:45 PM – 5:45 PM Session 3 \| 26 July (Sat), 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM Session 4 \| 26 July (Sat), 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Session 5 \| 27 July (Sun), 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM Session 6 \| 27 July (Sun), 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM	Arts Ambassadors alumni will take part in the bazaar to showcase their artworks Alumni will host workshops Exchange of skills and experiences in arts	Attend the activity punctually as stated in the confirmation email.
4. “My Breath Diary” Interactive Theatre	Date: 2 &17 August 2025 Venue: SHOWCASE, UG/F Landmark South Performance Sessions: Session 1 \| 2 August (Sat), 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Session 2 \| 17 August (Sun), 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Session 3 \| 17 August (Sun), 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Session 4 \| 17 August (Sun), 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM	Ambassadors will become performers, guiding the audience through the exhibition space to experience stories of a colourful world	Attend the activity punctually as stated in the confirmation email.
5. “My Breath Diary” Exhibition	Date: 2–17 August 2025 Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM Venue: SHOWCASE, UG/F Landmark South	Showcase and deepen ambassadors’ achievements from the Arts Enhancement Courses Transform the venue into an interactive storytelling space, blending art and technology	Visit the exhibition and complete the exhibition worksheet.
6. “In Between Communities: Zine, Neon light and Calligraphy” Exhibition	Date: 2–17 August 2025 Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM Venue: H6 CONET	Highlights the ambassadors’ outcomes of the Arts Enhancement Courses, featuring their creations in zines, calligraphy and neon light art	Visit the exhibition and complete the exhibition worksheet.

Certificate and Activity Allowance Requirements
Arts Ambassadors who participate in both core events — “Creative+ Arts Camp” and “Youth Arts Week” — will be eligible to receive a certificate and an activity allowance [Note] (for eligible participants only). Certificates will be mailed to the teacher responsible at each school in September for distribution.

[Note]: Ambassadors who meet the eligibility criteria for the “Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA)” or “Working Family Allowance Scheme”, and who submitted the relevant supporting documents at the time of nomination, will receive the activity allowance upon fulfilling the above requirements.
